Yellow Jacket Shen

Got Yellow Jacket Shen from a chest last week and wasn't expecting much from this 520 RP skin, but after around 40 games I'm actually impressed. The yellow and black color scheme makes me stand out way more than I thought it would, especially compared to base Shen who just blends into everything.

The Q empowered autos feel snappier somehow, probably just the yellow glow making them more visible but it helps me track my damage in teamfights. His E dash has this cleaner animation that makes the taunt hitbox feel more honest than something like Frozen Shen where the ice particles make it look wider than it actually is. But the real difference is during ults when your teammate gets that bright yellow shield indicator. Had a dragon fight yesterday where my ADC was getting dove and they instantly flashed toward me when they saw the ult coming in because the yellow glow is impossible to miss. We turned that 2v4 and got soul off it.

Is Yellow Jacket Shen worth it compared to other Shen skins? If you're used to TPA or Surgeon, this one's gonna feel less clunky for sure. It's purely cosmetic but the visibility boost on your ult shield alone makes it better than half his other skins. My experience with Yellow Jacket Shen has been way better than expected for such a cheap option. Not quite pay to win but your teammates will definitely notice your ults faster which can be the diff between them inting or surviving. Would recommend if you want something clean without dropping 1350 on Pulsefire.
