Worlds 2023 Renekton

Picked up Worlds 2023 Renekton from a mystery chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much since I mainly play Hextech on my croc. But after around 35 games, this skin's grown on me way more than I thought it would.

The Q animation feels noticeably smoother compared to base Renekton, especially when you're trying to CS under tower. Your empowered W has this satisfying crunch that makes stunning that fed Yasuo even better. And the ult transformation is probably the cleanest I've seen on any Renekton skin. Last night during a dragon fight, I ulted right as their jungler went for smite and the visual clarity made it super easy to track my position in the chaos. Hextech still has better sound effects but Worlds 2023 definitely wins on cleaner animations.

Is Worlds 2023 Renekton worth it? For an exclusive skin, absolutely. The E dash cancel feels more responsive than most of his other skins, which matters when you're trying to pop off in lane. It's purely cosmetic though, no actual advantage despite how smooth everything feels. Compared to other Renekton skins, this one sits right between Hextech and Project for me. The recall animation where he plants the championship flag is actually insane too.

My experience with Worlds 2023 Renekton has been surprisingly positive for something I never planned to own. If you're a Renekton main who already has his better skins, maybe wait for a sale or chest. But if you're looking for your first or second skin on him, this one's definitely worth considering. The World Championship theme hits different when you're dominating top lane.
