Worlds 2016 Zed

After 90 games with Worlds 2016 Zed, I'm convinced this skin doesn't get enough respect compared to other Zed skins that people hype up constantly. Got it from a mystery chest last season and wasn't expecting much, but this thing grew on me fast.

The Q feels snappier than base skin, and I swear the shadow swap on W has cleaner animation frames that make those clutch escapes feel more responsive. Your ult mark is way easier to track in teamfights too, which matters when you're trying to calculate if that fed ADC is gonna pop or survive with 10 HP. But what really sold me was during a baron fight where I needed to combo their mid through three bodies. The E animation is less clunky than Championship Zed, making it easier to hit multiple shuriken rotations without feeling like you're fighting the character model. Galaxy Slayer might have flashier effects, but Worlds 2016 keeps everything clean and readable.

Is Worlds 2016 Zed worth it? Absolutely, especially if you can snag it when the vault opens. It's not pay to win or anything, but the smoother animations definitely help with combos. I've played maybe 30 games on PsyOps and another 40 on Championship, and this one just feels better for actually climbing. The skin aged really well considering it's from 2016. No crazy particles blocking your vision, no distracting sounds, just clean execution.

My experience with Worlds 2016 Zed convinced me to refund PROJECT for this when it came back. If you're serious about maining Zed and want something that won't tilt you with visual clutter, this is probably your best bet after Shockblade.
