Worlds 2015 Kalista

Picked up Worlds 2015 Kalista from a mystery chest last month and honestly wasn't expecting much from this older skin. After around 55 games with it, I'm actually pretty impressed with how clean it feels compared to base Kalista, especially during extended teamfights where every auto matters.

The Q feels noticeably smoother when weaving between autos, and the spear animation has this subtle blue trail that makes it easier to track in chaotic fights. Her passive hop animation is probably the biggest improvement though, with cleaner animation frames that make kiting feel more responsive. During a baron fight yesterday, I was able to perfectly kite their fed Darius while stacking spears, something that always felt slightly clunky on base skin. The E rend has this satisfying blue explosion that's way easier to see than the base version, which helps track damage in messy fights.

Compared to other Kalista skins like Blood Moon, this one's purely cosmetic with no real pay-to-win advantage, but the visual clarity is definitely better. The recall animation with the World Championship trophy is a nice touch, and the blue particles throughout match the competitive theme perfectly. My experience with Worlds 2015 Kalista has been surprisingly positive for an exclusive skin I never planned on using.

Is Worlds 2015 Kalista worth it if you can still grab it? For Kalista mains who want something cleaner than base but don't need the flashiness of her newer skins, absolutely. The improved visual clarity alone makes those intense late game teamfights feel more manageable, and that's worth way more than any fancy effects.
