Worlds 2013 Thresh

Been spamming this skin for about 120 games now after getting it from a mystery gift, and honestly it's become my go-to over High Noon. The World Championship vibe hits different when you're making plays in ranked. What really surprised me was how clean the Q animation feels compared to base Thresh. The windup is slightly more visible which sounds bad, but actually helps me time hooks better around minions. And the flay animation? Probably the smoothest cancel I've experienced on any Thresh skin.

Last night during a dragon fight, I noticed something insane about the lantern. The green glow stands out way better in river bushes than Dark Star's purple mess. My ADC actually clicked it for once when we were getting collapsed on. The ult walls have this crisp blue edge that makes it super clear where the hitbox ends, which helped me trap their fed Katarina perfectly between walls for the pick. But the best part is the death sentence sound. That metallic clang when you land a hook just feels more responsive than the muffled thud on base skin.

Is Worlds 2013 Thresh worth it compared to other Thresh skins? For an exclusive skin, absolutely. The clarity advantages are real without being pay-to-win obvious. My experience with Worlds 2013 Thresh convinced me that older competitive skins aged better than most epic releases. If you main support and want something that won't tilt you with clunky animations, this is it. Just don't expect flashy particles or recall animations. It's all about those clean mechanics and that trophy flex when you pop off in lane.
