Worlds 2012 Riven

Championship Riven sits in this weird spot where everyone either swears by it or completely ignores it, but after 120 games I'm convinced it's actually one of her cleanest skins. Got this from a mystery chest last year and honestly wasn't expecting much since I already owned Dawnbringer, but the simplicity grew on me fast.

The Q combo feels noticeably smoother compared to other Riven skins, especially when you're trying to fast combo in teamfights. Her third Q has this crisp landing animation that makes it easier to time your auto cancels, and the W stun visually pops way better than base skin which helps in chaotic dragon fights. Last night I was getting dove under tower by their fed Irelia and the cleaner animation on my E shield let me perfectly time the stun into third Q knockup for the outplay. Battle Bunny might have more personality but Championship's clarity is unmatched when you need those frame-perfect combos.

This skin is purely cosmetic but the visual clarity genuinely helps with mechanical consistency. The blue effects stand out perfectly against river terrain and jungle camps without being distracting like Spirit Blossom's particles. And that recall animation with the crown forming is probably the cleanest one she has. Worth noting this is a limited skin that only comes back during Worlds, so if you're thinking about it, October's your window.

For any Riven main wondering if Championship Riven is worth it over flashier options, I'd say absolutely. It won't make you better at her but it removes visual clutter that might be holding back your mechanics. The exclusive factor is just bonus at this point.
