Withered Rose Zeri

After getting Withered Rose Zeri from a chest last month, I wasn't expecting much since I already own Ocean Song. But 90 games later, this skin completely changed how I play her.

The Q feels way smoother than base Zeri, especially when you're kiting backwards in teamfights. Her W has this purple trail that's actually easier to track through minion waves, and the ult transformation is insane with those dark petals everywhere. I remember this one dragon fight where I popped ult and the enemy Jinx literally walked into my Q spam because she couldn't tell where my hitbox ended with all the visual effects going off. Ocean Song never gave me that advantage since its blue particles blend with river fights too much. The E dash has a cleaner animation cancel into Q that probably saves me a frame or two when wall hopping.

Is Withered Rose Zeri worth it compared to other Zeri skins? For 1350 RP, you're getting more than just aesthetics. The skin clarity on her passive stacks is better than Ocean Song and way better than base. Her auto attacks feel more responsive, maybe because the projectile is darker and easier to track against Rift terrain. And that recall with the thorns growing around her while she floats is actually one of the best in the game.

This isn't exactly pay to win, but it's close enough that I'd recommend it for anyone who plays Zeri regularly. My experience with Withered Rose Zeri convinced me to refund PROJECT just to keep this one permanently. If you're gonna int on Zeri anyway, might as well look good doing it.
