Picked up Winterblessed Annie from a chest last month and wasn't expecting much since I usually rock Hextech or Super Galaxy. After around 50 games though, this skin's become my go to when I need to pop off in ranked.

The Q feels way more responsive than base Annie, especially when you're last hitting under tower and need that instant cast. Her ult drop has this frosty explosion that's actually easier to see in river fights compared to other Annie skins where Tibbers just kinda appears. But what really sells it is the E shield animation being cleaner without all the swirling particles that Galaxy Annie has. During a baron fight yesterday, I could actually track my positioning better while kiting backwards because the shield effect doesn't clutter your screen. The passive stun indicator sits perfectly above her model too, making it obvious when you're charged up without being obnoxious like some of her older skins.

Is Winterblessed Annie worth it? Probably not pay to win levels but there's definitely clarity advantages here. The W cone is super visible which helps both you and enemies understand the hitbox better, and honestly that's saved me from inting a few times when I thought I was in range but wasn't. Compared to other Annie skins at 1350 RP, this one hits different because everything just flows smoother. My experience with Winterblessed Annie convinced me that newer skins really do feel better mechanically, not just visually. If you're an Annie main who wants something that won't tilt you with weird animations or unclear ability ranges, this is worth grabbing next time it's in your shop.
