Picked up Warring Kingdoms Nidalee from a chest last month and honestly wasn't expecting much since I'm usually running Dawnbringer or French Maid. After about 55 games though, this skin grew on me way more than I thought it would. The jade spear aesthetic hits different when you're landing those max range spears in river fights.
The Q spear feels cleaner to land compared to other Nidalee skins, probably because the projectile stands out better against Rift textures. Her cougar W pounce has this satisfying weight to it that makes resets feel more responsive during skirmishes. But what really sold me was during a dragon fight where I was kiting around pit. The human E trap is way more visible than base skin, which sounds bad, but actually helped my team play around them better. My ADC said he could finally see where I was zoning without having to squint at his screen. And the cougar form animations feel less clunky when you're trying to combo fast, especially that E swipe into Q takedown.
Is Warring Kingdoms Nidalee worth it compared to her other options? It's purely cosmetic, not pay-to-win like some people claim about certain Lux skins. The skin aged pretty well for being from the Lunar Revel: Warring Kingdoms line. I'd still put Dawnbringer above it for pure smoothness, but this one's definitely worth if you catch it on sale or want something that feels more grounded than her flashier skins. My experience with Warring Kingdoms Nidalee convinced me it deserves a spot in any Nid main's collection, even if it won't be your go-to every game.
