Warring Kingdoms Katarina

Picked up Warring Kingdoms Katarina from a chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much since I'm usually running Battle Queen or PROJECT. After around 40 games though, this skin's grown on me way more than I thought it would. The whole jade aesthetic hits different when you're popping off in teamfights.

The Q daggers feel cleaner to track compared to base skin, probably because of that green glow that stands out against Rift terrain. But what really sold me was how smooth the E feels when you're resetting in fights. Had this insane dragon fight yesterday where I got a triple kill and the shunpo animation just flows so nicely between targets that I actually landed combos I'd usually mess up when tilted. Her ult has this satisfying jade spin effect that's easier to see the edge of compared to something like Red Card where everything blends together. The recall animation with the fans is pretty sick too, though you'll rarely see it if you're constantly roaming like you should be.

Is Warring Kingdoms Katarina worth it compared to other Katarina skins? It's definitely not pay to win or anything, but the clearer hitbox indicators on her daggers make it easier to position for resets. At 975 RP it's not breaking the bank, and you're getting solid visual clarity without the flashiness of her legendary skins. If you main Kat and want something that feels responsive without being too extra, this one's worth grabbing. Maybe not a day one purchase if you already have PROJECT or Battle Academia, but if you see it in Your Shop discounted, don't sleep on it.
