Volcanic Wukong

Got this from a mystery chest last month and after 55 games with it, I'm genuinely surprised how much better it feels compared to other Wukong skins. The fire effects actually make your combos more readable, which sounds weird but hear me out.

The Q animation feels way cleaner than base skin, especially when you're trying to cancel it into your E for quick trades in lane. But what really caught me off guard is how the ult looks during teamfights. The spinning fire effect is probably the most visible of all his skins, making it easier to track yourself in those messy dragon fights where everyone's popping off at once. Last week I was getting collapsed on at baron pit, ulted through their entire team, and could actually see where I was positioned the whole time instead of losing myself in the particle spam. And the clone from W has this subtle flame trail that helps differentiate it from you, which tilted the enemy Zed so hard when he kept ulting the wrong one.

Compared to Radiant Wukong which I used to main, Volcanic just feels more responsive overall. The E dash has this satisfying fire burst on impact that makes CS timing easier to judge. Is Volcanic Wukong worth it though? For 975 RP it's not breaking the bank, and honestly the visual clarity alone makes it feel less cosmetic and more like a slight advantage. Not quite pay to win, but close enough that I'd recommend it if you're serious about climbing with monkey king. My experience with Volcanic Wukong convinced me to keep it as my main skin even though I usually rotate between whatever I own.
