Vizier Malzahar

Been maining Malzahar for three seasons now with around 500k mastery points, and I've collected every skin except the legacy ones. Vizier Malzahar was actually my first purchase after hitting mastery 7, and looking back, it's probably the one I recommend most to friends who want something different from base without breaking the bank.

The skin completely changes how your abilities feel in lane. Your Q feels way smoother when you're trying to poke through minions, and the golden effects make it easier to track in messy teamfights. The voidlings look insane with their little turbans and golden armor, making them actually visible when you're trying to CS under tower. But what really sells it is the E spread animation. Where base Malzahar has that purple mess that sometimes gets lost in river fights, Vizier's golden particles pop off the screen. I remember this one dragon fight where the enemy support couldn't tell if my E was still on them because of all the spell effects flying around, but with Vizier the golden glow made it obvious even to my jungler who needed to know when to smite.

Compared to other Malzahar skins like Battle Boss or Beezahar, Vizier feels less clunky overall. The ult channel looks cleaner than base, and while it's not pay to win, the visual clarity definitely helps in ranked. After 150+ games with it, I think the 520 RP price point makes it worth grabbing if you play him regularly. Snow Day might have better particles, but Vizier Malzahar's aesthetic and smoother animation cancels make it my go to when I need to tryhard in ranked.
