Victorious Kog’Maw

Been grinding ranked with my 600k mastery points on Kog, and I gotta say, Victorious Kog'Maw hits different compared to other Kog'Maw skins. This exclusive skin completely changed how I approach teamfights, especially after spamming it for 90 games straight this split.

The W feels way more responsive than base skin, and you can actually tell when your range buff is about to expire thanks to the golden glow effect. Your autos have this satisfying metallic sound that makes CSing feel cleaner somehow. But what really sold me was the ult indicator being more visible in messy fights. Last night during a baron dance, I landed three consecutive ults on their fed Jinx because the projectile arc stands out so much better than something like Lion Dance Kog'Maw. The E animation cancel feels faster too, though that might just be me getting used to the visual cues.

Is Victorious Kog'Maw worth it? Well, you can't exactly buy it since it was a ranked reward, but if you're lucky enough to own it, you're sitting on probably the best clarity skin for our void puppy. My experience with Victorious Kog'Maw convinced me it's borderline pay-to-win in terms of visual clarity. The recall animation where he turns into a trophy is kinda cringe but good for BM after you pop off in lane.

For any Kog mains reading this review, if you have this skin, use it over everything except maybe Hextech. The competitive advantage from clearer animations alone makes it worth running every game. And if you don't have it, well, at least Bee'Maw exists to tilt enemies in a different way.
