Veigar Greybeard

Got Veigar Greybeard from a mystery chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much since I usually rock Final Boss. After about 40 games though, this skin's grown on me way more than I thought it would.

The Q feels insanely smooth compared to base Veigar, and the cage animation is probably the cleanest of all his skins. What really caught me off guard was how the ult looks when you're about to delete someone. That purple lightning effect makes it super clear when you've got lethal, which helped me secure kills I might've hesitated on before. During a baron fight yesterday, I landed a perfect cage on three people and the visual clarity made it easy to see exactly who was stunned through all the chaos. My team went from getting stomped to winning that fight and closing out the game.

Compared to other Veigar skins like Omega Squad, Greybeard feels less clunky overall. The auto attacks are crisp and CSing feels better, though that might just be me getting used to the animations. Is Veigar Greybeard worth it if you're buying with RP? For 750 RP it's decent value, but I wouldn't say it's pay to win or anything. The cage visibility is maybe slightly better than base but nothing that'll make you pop off harder.

If you're a Veigar main looking for something different from the usual skins, this one's solid. Not as flashy as Final Boss or Bad Santa, but the wizard aesthetic fits his lore perfectly and everything feels responsive. Would I have bought it myself? Probably not, but now that I have it, it's definitely in my rotation.
