Valkyrie Leona

Finally decided to grab Valkyrie Leona after seeing it pop off in my ranked games constantly, and after 55 games with it, I'm honestly shocked how much smoother the E feels compared to base skin. The wind-up animation is way cleaner, making those max range engages feel more consistent when you're trying to catch that fed ADC who's been dodging everything all game. Solar Flare especially looks massive with those golden wings spreading out, and I swear enemies flash it more often just because it looks scarier than it actually is.

The Q animation flows so much better than something like Barbecue Leona where the spatula swing feels clunky as hell. Yesterday during a dragon fight, I managed to chain Q into ult into another Q perfectly because the animations don't overlap weirdly like they do on some of her other skins. Her W looks absolutely insane with those feather particles floating around you, though I think it makes you look tankier than you actually are which probably baits some people into bad trades. And the shield bash sound is crisp enough that you know exactly when your stun connects without second-guessing.

Is Valkyrie Leona worth it compared to other Leona skins? For 520 RP it's not exactly budget friendly, but the cleaner animations alone make it worth if you're planning to spam her in ranked. It's purely cosmetic advantage wise, but those smoother cancels between abilities can make the difference between a clean engage and inting into their whole team. My experience with Valkyrie Leona convinced me to make it my main skin over Solar Eclipse, and that's saying something considering I owned that one for three years straight.
