Valiant Sword Riven

Picked this up from a chest last month and honestly wasn't expecting much since I usually rock Dawnbringer or Championship. After around 35 games though, Valiant Sword Riven might be my new go-to for ranked climbs. The skin feels incredibly smooth when you're animation canceling, especially the Q combo into auto attacks. There's something about the sword effects that makes the timing clearer compared to base Riven or even some of her pricier skins.

The E shield has this clean blue effect that's way easier to track in teamfights, and I swear the ult activation feels more responsive. Last night during a dragon fight, I managed to flash W into their backline and the stun radius was so much clearer than usual. Their ADC probably thought I was scripting with how clean that engage looked. But the best part is definitely the third Q knockup, it has this distinct swoosh sound that helps you time your combos better when you're trying to fast Q combo someone under tower.

Compared to other Riven skins like Battle Bunny or even Pulsefire, this one just feels less clunky overall. The sword doesn't have those distracting particle effects that can throw off your spacing, and the model itself is slim enough that you can actually see what you're doing in minion waves. Is Valiant Sword Riven worth it? If you're serious about climbing with her, absolutely. It's not quite pay-to-win but the visual clarity definitely gives you an edge in those intense 1v2 situations. At 1350 RP it's not cheap, but for Riven mains who want every advantage possible, this skin delivers where it counts.
