Underworld Wukong

Once a pupil of the martial arts, Wukong trained under his masters' strict traditions and doctrines. In him, Death saw limitless potential, and chose to claim the disregarded student for the underworld instead. Now, Wukong fights alongside the undying hordes, no longer bound by the rules of the living.

Just hit 120 games with Underworld Wukong after buying it during a losing streak last month, figured I needed something fresh to break the tilt. This skin completely changed how I approach teamfights compared to other Wukong skins, and I'm actually climbing again.

The W clone feels way more responsive than base or even Radiant skin, making those sneaky escapes around dragon pit actually work. Your E dash has this ghostly trail that's probably harder for enemies to track in messy fights, and I've noticed people whiff skillshots more often when I engage. But what really sells it is the ult animation being less clunky than base. During a baron fight yesterday, I popped off with a 4-man knockup that I swear wouldn't have landed as clean on default skin. The spinning motion just flows better, especially when you're trying to reposition mid-ult. My experience with Underworld Wukong compared to Jade Dragon is night and day for clarity.

Is Underworld Wukong worth it? For 1350 RP it's not exactly pay-to-win, but those smoother animations genuinely help in ranked. The recall animation where he descends into the underworld looks insane, and the green ethereal effects on all abilities make you feel like an actual threat instead of just another monkey running around. And the Death Sworn theme fits perfectly if you're into that darker aesthetic.

Should you buy Underworld Wukong if you main him? Absolutely worth grabbing next time it's in your shop. The technical improvements alone make it better than half his legendary skins, and once you get used to those cleaner animations, going back to base feels terrible.
