Been spamming True Damage Ekko for about 80 games now and honestly, this skin hits different compared to other Ekko skins. The 1820 RP price felt steep at first but after maining him this long, I'm convinced it's actually worth every penny. What really sold me was how the Q animation feels way smoother than base Ekko or even PROJECT, making those max range pokes in lane trades so much easier to land.

The W placement is probably the biggest upgrade here. That holographic dome is insanely clear compared to something like Sandstorm where I'd sometimes lose track of my own stun zone during chaotic teamfights. Just yesterday I was defending dragon pit against a fed Yasuo and the visibility difference let me perfectly time my stun through the wall while he was mid dash. And the passive proc? The bass drop sound effect when you hit that third stack is so satisfying it's almost tilting for enemies. My CS has actually improved because last hitting with those auto attacks just feels more responsive than any other skin.

Is True Damage Ekko worth it? After comparing it to my previous favorite PROJECT skin, absolutely. The ult animation is clean enough that enemies have a harder time tracking your clone position, which I think gives a slight competitive edge. Not quite pay to win territory but definitely pushes boundaries. The True Damage music theme during recall never gets old either. For any Ekko main looking to pop off more consistently, this skin makes the champ feel less clunky overall. But if you're just picking him up occasionally, maybe wait for a sale since the price is admittedly high for casual use.
