Looking back at Traditional Trundle after 120 games, I'm honestly shocked more people don't run this skin. Yeah it's exclusive now since you can't buy it anymore, but if you snagged it back in the day or got lucky with a chest, you're sitting on something special. The whole vibe is this raw, primal troll that makes base Trundle look way too polished. His Q feels heavier when you bonk someone, like there's actual weight behind that club swing, and the W animation is cleaner without all the fancy ice particles cluttering your screen.
What really sold me was a baron fight where I could actually see enemy skillshots through my frozen domain. Dragonslayer Trundle has all these flashy effects that look sick but Traditional keeps it simple and readable. The pillar spawn is probably the smoothest animation cancel I've felt on any Trundle skin, letting you E into Q way faster for those clutch picks. And his ult doesn't have that weird delay feeling that Worldbreaker has when you're trying to steal tank stats in a teamfight.
Is Traditional Trundle worth it compared to other Trundle skins? If you could still buy it I'd say absolutely, even over the 975 RP options. It's not pay to win but the visual clarity is insane, especially when you're fed and running down their backline. My experience with Traditional Trundle convinced me that sometimes the older, simpler skins just hit different. For anyone who owns it already and hasn't tried it, give it a week. You might never go back to those flashier skins that everyone else is running.
