TPA Shen

Collector completing World Champions: 2012 set here, and after 120 games with TPA Shen, I've gotta say this skin hits different than expected. Been slowly grabbing all the championship skins from Season 2, and while TPA Shen isn't flashy like modern releases, there's something clean about how stripped down it is. The simple red jersey aesthetic actually makes his animations feel more responsive, especially when you're trying to nail those frame-perfect taunts through enemy abilities.

The Q feels way smoother compared to base Shen, and I swear the sword recall animation is faster by a few frames. His ult shield looks cleaner too, making it easier to track in messy teamfights when everyone's popping off. But where this skin really shines is the E taunt animation. Something about the way he dashes just feels less clunky than Pulsefire or even Infernal Shen. Last night during a baron fight, I managed to thread an E between Caitlyn traps that I probably would've int'd on with Yellow Jacket's bulkier model. The slimmer silhouette genuinely helps with hitbox clarity.

Is TPA Shen worth it compared to other Shen skins? For 750 RP, you're not getting particle changes or fancy recalls, but you're getting one of the most competitively viable Shen skins. It's purely cosmetic advantage wise, but the cleaner animations make a difference when you're trying to CS under tower or need split-second reaction taunts. If you're a Shen main who values gameplay feel over flashy effects, this beats out most of his roster. Just don't expect anyone to notice you're using it until you diff their toplaner hard enough.
