Got TPA Orianna from a chest last month and wasn't expecting much from this 750 RP skin, but after around 55 games with it, I'm genuinely surprised. The ball feels lighter somehow, especially when you're throwing out Q for poke in lane. Where Dark Star Orianna has all those fancy particle effects that sometimes make me lose track of my ball in teamfights, TPA keeps everything clean and readable.
The W animation is probably my favorite change because the shockwave ripple is super clear without being distracting. I remember this one dragon fight where the enemy team was stacking and I could perfectly track my ball position through all the chaos, landed a 4-man ult that won us the game. And the shield looks different enough that even my teammates seem to notice it better when I E them. The recall animation with the trophy is actually pretty satisfying too, nothing crazy but it's a nice touch for an older skin.
Compared to other Orianna skins like Bladecraft or Pool Party, TPA Orianna feels more responsive even though that's probably just placebo. But I swear the Q cancel feels smoother when you're trying to CS under tower. Is TPA Orianna worth it if you main her? Maybe not if you already own Winter Wonder or Dark Star, but for a budget option it's solid. It's purely cosmetic, no pay-to-win advantage, but the cleaner animations do help with clarity in messy fights.
My experience with TPA Orianna has been way better than expected. If you're looking for a clean, affordable skin that won't tilt you with visual clutter, this one's actually worth considering, especially if you catch it on sale.
