The Thousand-Pierced Bear

Been spamming Volibear for about 80 games now with The Thousand-Pierced Bear and honestly, this skin hits different than his other options. The whole eldritch horror vibe completely changes how the champ feels to play, and I'm not just talking aesthetics here.

The Q animation feels way smoother compared to base Volibear or even Runeguard. There's something about the tentacle movements that makes the stun timing clearer for both you and enemies, which actually matters when you're trying to predict flash timings. His E lightning strike has this sick corrupted effect that's easier to track in messy teamfights, and the ult transformation is probably the cleanest I've seen on any Volibear skin. Just yesterday I was tower diving a fed Jinx and the ult indicator was so clear that I could perfectly time my disable to avoid her traps while still getting the kill. The recall animation with all those void tentacles wrapping around him is insane too.

Compared to other Volibear skins like Duality Dragon, The Thousand-Pierced Bear actually gives you better visual clarity without being pay to win. The W bite mark is super visible on enemies which helps track who you've marked in chaotic dragon fights. My only gripe is that it's 975 RP which feels a bit steep, but after this many games I'd say it's worth the price if you're planning to main the bear.

For anyone wondering if The Thousand-Pierced Bear is worth it, I'd say grab it if you play Voli regularly. The smoother animations alone make laning phase feel less clunky, and you'll definitely pop off harder knowing you look this good while running people down.
