Tempest Janna

Picked up Tempest Janna after getting absolutely demolished by one in my promos last week. After around 40 games with it, I can honestly say this skin changes how you play her compared to other Janna skins. The tornado feels way more responsive when you're trying to quick cast it for those clutch saves, and I swear the animation cancel on her shield is cleaner than base skin or even Sacred Sword. Where Star Guardian feels floaty and delayed, Tempest has this snappy feel that just works better in hectic teamfights.

The real difference shows during dragon fights when everyone's stacked up. Yesterday we were contesting soul and their fed Katarina jumped in, but the ult animation on Tempest is so clear that I could time the knockback perfectly without second guessing if it went off. With Forecast Janna, I'd probably miss that timing because the visual gets lost in all the particle effects. Her W also has better visibility when you're kiting backwards through river, which saved me from getting run down by their Hecarim multiple times.

Is Tempest Janna worth it? For 520 RP, absolutely. It's not pay to win exactly, but the cleaner animations genuinely help with reaction times. My experience with Tempest Janna has been nothing but positive, especially compared to her clunkier skins like Hextech. If you're a support main who plays her regularly, this skin will make those game winning plays feel more consistent. The only downside is it's not as flashy as her expensive skins, but honestly that's a good thing when you need clarity over style.
