Team Spirit Anivia

Got Team Spirit Anivia from a chest last month and wasn't expecting much from this 520 RP skin, but after around 55 games I'm actually impressed. The cheerleader theme seemed cringe at first but it's grown on me completely.

The Q feels way cleaner than base Anivia and even compared to other Anivia skins like Blackfrost. Something about the pom-pom animation makes it easier to track in teamfights, especially when you're trying to land that stun on a fed ADC diving your backline. Her wall placement feels more responsive too, probably because the cheer animation is shorter than her normal cast time. But the real difference is her ult. The blue and white swirls are so much clearer than the standard ice storm that I can actually see where enemies are standing in it during messy dragon fights. Had a game yesterday where I zoned three people perfectly at baron pit and my jungler said he could finally see my ult radius for once.

Compared to Festival Queen which I mained before, Team Spirit is purely cosmetic but somehow feels better to play. The recall animation where she does the little cheer routine is worth the price alone. And those foam fingers on her wings during homeguard? Pure comedy when you're rotating to help your tilted top laner.

Is Team Spirit Anivia worth it? If you're looking for actual pay-to-win advantages, no. But my experience with Team Spirit Anivia has been surprisingly positive for what I thought would be a throwaway skin. The visual clarity is better than half her expensive skins and at 520 RP it's honestly a steal. Would recommend for any Anivia player who wants something different without breaking the bank.
