Taric Luminshield

A battle cleric who has to simultaneously tank and heal for a pair of bumbling rogues, Taric Luminshield may be the only thing keeping his table from a total party wipe. In-universe he's a devout warrior of the Divine Goddess Targonius, but out of universe he'd rather be in a different campaign.

Picked up Luminshield Taric from a chest last week and honestly didn't expect much since I usually rock Armor of the Fifth Age for the memes. After about 35 games though, this skin's grown on me way more than I thought it would.

The Q feels noticeably smoother compared to base Taric, especially when you're weaving autos between heals during extended trades. His E stun has this bright golden flash that makes it easier to track in teamfights, which actually helped me land a crucial stun on their fed Katarina during a dragon fight yesterday. She was about to ult my team but the clearer animation let me react faster than I probably would've with Pool Party. And the ult? The shield effect pops off the screen so clearly that even my ADC who usually ints realizes when they're invulnerable. The recall animation where he summons that crystalline shield is pretty clean too.

Compared to other Taric skins like Bloodstone, Luminshield feels more responsive overall. The auto attack animation seems less clunky which helps when you're trying to proc your passive efficiently. It's purely cosmetic but the visual clarity genuinely makes a difference in hectic situations. My experience with Taric Luminshield has been surprisingly positive for a skin I never planned to use.

Is Taric Luminshield worth it if you're thinking about buying? For support mains who play him regularly, I'd say yes. The improved visual feedback alone makes it better than half his skin lineup. Maybe wait for Your Shop if you're not in a rush, but it's definitely become my go-to over skins I actually paid for.
