Tango Evelynn

Never thought I'd pick up Tango Evelynn after owning Shadow and K/DA skins, but when it dropped from a chest last month, I figured why not give it a shot. After around 55 games with it, this skin honestly surprised me in ways I wasn't expecting. The whole ballroom assassin vibe seemed cringe at first, but it's actually grown on me hard.

The Q spikes feel way more responsive than base Evelynn, probably because the rose petal effects make the projectile path clearer. Her W charm has this subtle tango music that builds up, which sounds gimmicky but actually helps me time ganks better since I can hear exactly when it's about to pop. But the real difference is her E, which has a smoother animation cancel that lets you weave autos cleaner. Just yesterday I was contesting dragon and managed to delete their fed ADC because the E into ult combo felt instant. On Shadow Evelynn, that same combo sometimes feels clunky and telegraphed.

Is Tango Evelynn worth it compared to other Evelynn skins? For 520 RP, absolutely. It's not just cosmetic either, since the clearer Q visuals and that W audio cue give you slight advantages in teamfights. My experience with Tango Evelynn has been that it's perfect for players who want something different without dropping 1350 on K/DA. The skin aged incredibly well for being so old, and while it doesn't have the flashy particles of newer skins, the gameplay feels tighter. If you're an Eve main looking for something that won't tilt you with visual noise while still looking distinct, this is it.
