Talon Blackwood

After 35 games with Talon Blackwood, I'm convinced this is the sleekest skin in his entire collection. The dark aesthetic completely changes how the champion feels to play, and compared to other Talon skins, this one hits different when you're stalking through river for that perfect flank.

The Q feels way more responsive than base Talon, with a cleaner animation that makes last hitting under tower actually satisfying. Your W projectiles have this shadowy trail that's easier to track in teamfights, which helped me land a triple kill near dragon pit yesterday when their ADC couldn't see the return damage coming through all the chaos. And the ult is probably the biggest upgrade since the stealth particles blend better with the map, making it harder for enemies to track where you're moving. I've been running this alongside SSW Talon for comparison, and Blackwood just feels less clunky overall, especially when you're trying to combo fast after jumping walls with E.

This skin is purely cosmetic though, not pay to win or anything. The 1350 RP price might seem a bit steep at first, but after a month of spamming ranked with it, I think it's worth every penny if you're serious about maining Talon. The recall animation alone where he vanishes into shadows makes backing feel less tilting when you're behind in CS. Is Talon Blackwood worth it? For anyone who plays assassins regularly, absolutely. My experience with Talon Blackwood convinced me to refund Enduring Sword just to keep this permanently. If you're on the fence about which Talon skin to grab, this one's become my go to for climbing.
