Surprise Party Amumu

Got this skin from a mystery chest last month and wasn't expecting much since I usually run Infernal or Emumu. After about 40 games though, Surprise Party Amumu might be my new go-to when I'm not tryharding in ranked.

The Q bandage toss feels way more responsive than base skin, probably because of the party streamer animation that makes it easier to track. Your W actually looks bigger with the confetti circle even though the hitbox is identical, which tilted a few enemies who thought they were out of range. But the real winner is the ult with that satisfying party horn sound and confetti explosion. I landed a 4-man ult at dragon pit yesterday and the visual clarity was insane compared to other Amumu skins where sometimes people don't even realize they're stunned for half a second. The recall animation where he cries into his party hat gets me every time too.

Compared to other Amumu skins like Infernal which I mained forever, this one's purely cosmetic with no actual advantage. Infernal has that intimidating presence but Surprise Party catches people off guard because who expects the sad mummy throwing a party to pop off and carry teamfights? The 1350 RP price tag is worth it if you play him regularly, especially since the animations feel less clunky than his older skins.

Is Surprise Party Amumu worth it? If you're an Amumu main who wants something fresh without losing clarity in teamfights, absolutely grab it. My experience with Surprise Party Amumu convinced me that sometimes the silly skins are the most satisfying to climb with. Nothing beats watching enemies int into your party while you spam mastery.
