Surfer Singed

Surfer Singed was the first skin I grabbed after returning to League following a two year break, and man, the nostalgia hit different when I saw it in the shop. After around 55 games with it, I can honestly say this is probably the most fun I've had playing Singed since season 8.

The poison trail feels way smoother than base Singed or even Beekeeper, with the water effect making it super clear where your Q ends without being obnoxious. Your fling animation is insane with the surfboard spin, and while it doesn't actually change anything mechanically, it makes landing those clutch flings feel more satisfying. But the real winner is the ult animation where he drinks from a coconut. I was defending our inhib turret yesterday against a fed Yasuo and popped ult right as he dove me, and something about that coconut drink animation made the whole play feel more relaxed even though I was tilted from laning phase. The recall where he surfs on his board is clean too, though you'll rarely get to finish it without someone trying to int your back timing.

Compared to other Singed skins like Mad Scientist or Resistance, Surfer feels less clunky overall. The model is smaller visually which some people think gives a slight advantage for dodging skillshots, but honestly it's mostly just cosmetic. Worth the 975 RP? If you're a Singed main who plays him regularly, absolutely. The skin aged really well for something from 2010 and still feels fresh compared to newer releases. My experience with Surfer Singed convinced me to start maining the champ again, and that alone makes it worth for anyone who wants to have more fun while spreading toxic positivity across the rift.
