After 120 games with Super Galaxy Rumble, I can confidently say this skin completely changes how the champion feels to play. Got it from a chest last season and wasn't expecting much since I usually run Badlands Baron, but the difference in clarity is actually insane.
The Q feels way smoother to last hit with, and the flamespitter has this satisfying mechanical whirr that makes spacing in lane trades so much easier. Your ult drops these massive warning indicators that are impossible to miss, which sounds bad but actually helps you zone better since enemies respect it more. The E animation is probably the biggest upgrade though, with cleaner projectile tracking that makes max range pokes feel more consistent. During a baron fight yesterday, I landed three perfect ults in a row partly because the visual tells are so clear I could track exactly where each missile would land even in the chaos.
Compared to other Rumble skins like my old favorite Badlands Baron, Super Galaxy just feels more responsive overall. The heat gauge is right there in your face with better visibility, and overheating at 50% for that empowered Q doesn't feel like guesswork anymore. Sure, the voice lines get a bit cringe after a while with all the mecha anime references, but when you're fed and melting the enemy backline, who cares?
Is Super Galaxy Rumble worth it if you main him? Absolutely. This isn't pay to win exactly, but the technical advantages add up. The animations are less clunky, ability ranges feel clearer, and you'll probably land more ults just from the improved visuals alone. My experience with Super Galaxy Rumble convinced me that sometimes the right skin actually makes you play better.
