Sugar Rush Zilean

Getting Sugar Rush Zilean from a chest last month was probably the best RNG I've had all season. After 50 games with it, I'm honestly shocked how much cleaner the animations feel compared to base Zilean. The Q bombs are these massive candy orbs that are way easier to track in teamfights, and the explosion radius feels more honest than his other skins somehow.

The real game changer is how the ult looks on allies. That giant lollipop marker is impossible to miss even when fights get chaotic. Just yesterday we were contesting dragon and our fed Jinx was about to get deleted by their Zed. Normally I'd be sweating about whether she'd see my ult in time, but that candy coating is so obvious she instantly knew to go aggressive. We turned that fight completely and closed out the game. Blood Moon Zilean might look cooler but Sugar Rush Zilean wins the clarity battle every time.

My experience with Sugar Rush Zilean has been worth the 1350 RP, especially if you're planning to grind ranked. The E speed boost has this rainbow trail that makes it super clear who's buffed, and the stun indicator on double bomb is insanely visible with those swirling candies. Sure it's a bit goofy looking, but I'll take functional over edgy any day. And the recall where he stirs the cauldron is actually hilarious.

Is Sugar Rush Zilean worth it? If you play him more than occasionally, absolutely. Compared to other Zilean skins this one gives you actual visual advantages without being pay to win. Time Machine might be his smoothest skin but Sugar Rush just hits different in terms of readability.
