Got Strike Paladin Lucian from a chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much since I usually run High Noon. After about 35 games though, this skin's grown on me way more than I thought it would.
The Q feels incredibly smooth compared to base Lucian, especially when weaving autos between abilities. Your W has this satisfying metallic sound that makes it easier to track in teamfights, and the ult genuinely feels cleaner with better visibility on where your shots are landing. I noticed this most during a baron fight where I could actually see my damage output through all the spell effects, something that's always been an issue with PROJECT Lucian's visual clutter. The auto attacks have this crisp feel that makes CS'ing more satisfying, though that's probably just psychological.
Compared to other Lucian skins, Strike Paladin sits somewhere between High Noon's smoothness and Hired Gun's clarity. It's definitely not pay to win, but the animations feel less clunky than some of his older skins. The recall animation is whatever, nothing special, but the in game model looks clean without being too flashy. For 1350 RP it's decent value if you're a Lucian main, though High Noon still edges it out slightly for me personally.
Is Strike Paladin Lucian worth it? If you already have High Noon or Pulsefire, maybe wait for a sale. But if you're looking for your first premium Lucian skin or want something that feels responsive without the visual noise of PROJECT, this one's solid. The cleaner animation cancels alone make it worth considering, especially if you're trying to climb and every mechanical advantage helps.
