Street Demons Rengar caught me completely off guard when I pulled it from a chest last month, and after 70 games with it, I'm actually shocked how much better it feels than Headhunter which I'd been using forever. The whole vibe is different but in a way that somehow makes me play more aggressive.
The Q animation feels way smoother than base skin, especially when you're jumping from bushes repeatedly during early invades. Your empowered Q has this sick purple glow that's easier to track in teamfights compared to other Rengar skins where I sometimes lose track of my stacks. But what really sold me is the ult. When you pop R, the screen effect is less intrusive than Pretty Kitty but still clear enough that enemies know they're about to get deleted. I remember this one dragon fight where their ADC was standing near pit, and the cleaner ult animation let me perfectly time my leap over the wall without that weird delay I get on Mecha sometimes.
This skin isn't pay-to-win but it's probably the closest Rengar gets to having a competitive edge through cosmetics. The E bola throw has better visibility which helps when you're trying to snare someone in river bushes at night. And the recall animation where he revs his bike is actually fast enough that I've managed some sneaky backs that would've gotten me killed on Guardian of the Sands.
For 1350 RP it's worth it if you're serious about Rengar. My experience with Street Demons Rengar convinced me to refund Pretty Kitty actually. If you main him or even just play him occasionally, this skin makes the champ feel more responsive without being too flashy. Just don't expect it to fix your mechanics if you're still learning his combos.
