Star Guardian Neeko caught me completely off guard when I pulled it from a hextech chest last month. After spamming around 50 games with it, I'm honestly shocked how much better it feels compared to her base animations, especially for someone who never planned on maining this chameleon.

The Q blooming flower feels way smoother to land in teamfights now, probably because the pink sparkles make it easier to track through all the chaos. Her W clone actually looks distinct enough that enemies hesitate more, and I've noticed myself getting away with greedier plays. But the real game changer is her ult. The magical girl transformation has such a cleaner animation that I can actually tell when I'm about to pop off versus when I'm gonna int. During a baron fight yesterday, I landed a 4-man ult that I swear I would've mistimed on base skin because the wind-up just flows better. Winter Wonder Neeko used to be my go-to when I borrowed my friend's account, but Star Guardian makes that skin feel clunky in comparison.

Is Star Guardian Neeko worth it? For 1350 RP, it's not just cosmetic. The visual clarity actually helps in ranked, especially when you're trying to CS while harassing with Q. My experience with Star Guardian Neeko convinced me to actually buy RP for the first time in two years. And considering I was ready to refund Shan Hai before this dropped from a chest, I'd say that's pretty telling.

If you play Neeko even casually, this skin makes her kit feel more responsive without being pay-to-win obvious. Maybe wait for Your Shop if you're not in a rush, but mains should grab it immediately.
