Star Guardian Lulu

Picked this up from a Hextech chest last month and honestly wasn't expecting much since I'm usually running Dragon Trainer or Pool Party on Lulu. But after around 50 games with Star Guardian, it's actually become my go-to for ranked matches. The skin feels way smoother than I anticipated, especially when you're trying to clutch those teamfights.

The Q animation is probably the biggest difference from base Lulu. It's got this bright purple sparkle trail that makes it super easy to track in messy fights, and the projectile feels faster even though I know it's not actually any different. Her W polymorph has this satisfying star burst effect that just feels more responsive when you're shutting down that fed Yasuo diving your ADC. And the ult is where this skin really shines. The shield visual is cleaner than most of her other skins, making it way easier to see who's got your protection during those chaotic dragon fights. Last night I saved our jungler from a Zed ult with perfect timing and the clarity of the shield animation definitely helped me nail it.

Compared to other Lulu skins like Cosmic Enchantress, Star Guardian just feels less clunky overall. The auto attack animation is smooth enough that CSing feels natural, and Pix doesn't blend into the background like he does with some of her darker skins. Is Star Guardian Lulu worth it? For 1350 RP it's not exactly cheap, but if you play her regularly it's one of her better options. Not pay to win or anything, but the visual clarity gives you that tiny edge when you need to pop off in teamfights. I'd recommend it over most of her catalog except maybe Space Groove if you prefer that vibe.
