Star Guardian Ekko

Star Guardian Ekko caught me completely off guard when I rolled it from a chest last week. After putting in around 35 games with it, I'm actually shocked at how much better it feels compared to base Ekko or even PROJECT, which used to be my go to.

The W animation is probably the cleanest part of this skin. That pink bubble is way easier to track in teamfights compared to the murky green on base, and the stun proc has this satisfying sparkle that makes landing it feel more responsive. Your Q throws out this magical boomerang that's surprisingly visible against river terrain, which saved me during a dragon fight yesterday when I needed to zone their jungler while we secured soul. But what really sells it is the ult. The rewind trail leaves these star particles that make tracking your ghost position so much easier, especially when you're diving under tower and need to know exactly where you'll snap back to.

Compared to other Ekko skins like True Damage, this one's purely cosmetic with no real advantage, though the W clarity might give you a tiny edge in messy fights. The recall animation where he floats with his familiar is pretty cringe but good, and the voice lines hit different when you're fed and styling on people. At 1350 RP it's not breaking the bank, and honestly after maining PROJECT for two years, this skin made Ekko feel fresh again.

Is Star Guardian Ekko worth it? If you're an Ekko main who wants cleaner visuals without sacrificing clarity, absolutely grab it. The animations alone make those mechanical outplays feel twice as satisfying.
