SSW Talon

Picked up SSW Talon from a chest last month and honestly wasn't expecting much from this 750 RP skin. After around 55 games though, I'm actually impressed with how clean it feels compared to base Talon. The white jersey aesthetic might seem basic at first, but there's something about the smoother animation cancels that makes combos flow better.

The W feels noticeably more responsive when you're trying to proc passive in quick trades. I've been landing way more flower combos since switching from Blood Moon, and the Q animation seems tighter somehow. During a baron fight yesterday, I managed to delete their fed ADC partly because the ult blades were easier to track against the river terrain. The white particles just pop more clearly than the darker skins, especially when you're trying to position for that return damage. And the E parkour looks crisp without being too flashy, which helps when you're trying to stay focused during roams.

Is SSW Talon worth it compared to other Talon skins? For the price, absolutely. It's not as visually impressive as Enduring Sword or Withered Rose, but there's probably a slight clarity advantage here. The simpler effects mean less visual clutter when you're going for those instant combos. Plus there's something satisfying about repping the 2014 Worlds winner vibe, even if most players won't recognize it anymore. I'd rate this as purely cosmetic with maybe a tiny edge in readability. If you're a Talon main looking for something clean that won't tilt you with unnecessary particles, grab it next time it's in your shop. Otherwise, the flashier skins offer more bang for your RP.
