Spirit Blossom Sett caught me completely off guard when I pulled it from a hextech chest last month. After 50 games with it, I'm honestly shocked how much better it feels compared to base Sett.
The W shield looks absolutely insane with those pink petals floating around you, making it way easier to time your true damage punch perfectly. His Q punches have this satisfying ethereal swoosh that somehow makes CS'ing feel smoother than Obsidian Dragon. But the real difference maker is his ult. The grab animation is cleaner and the slam creates this gorgeous spirit flower explosion that makes it super obvious where enemies will land. During a baron fight yesterday, I grabbed their fed Jinx and the visual clarity helped my team instantly collapse on the landing spot for the easy pick. That play probably doesn't happen with base skin where the impact zone isn't as clear.
Compared to other Sett skins, Spirit Blossom sits right between Obsidian Dragon and Prestige. It's not as flashy as Prestige but the animations feel more responsive than Obsidian's heavier movements. The recall animation with him meditating is actually cringe but good, giving you something nice to spam after getting that solo kill. Is Spirit Blossom Sett worth it if you're buying with RP? At 1820 RP I'd say absolutely, but since I got mine free I can't complain either way.
This skin won't make you suddenly pop off if you're inting on Sett already, but for anyone who plays him regularly, the visual improvements are noticeable enough to justify grabbing it on sale. My experience with Spirit Blossom Sett convinced me to actually main the champion, and that's saying something.
