Spirit Blossom Ahri

Been maining Ahri since season 4 with over 500k mastery points across accounts, and Spirit Blossom might actually be her smoothest skin to date. After spamming around 90 games with it this split, I'm convinced it's the best choice for climbing, even compared to my previous favorite Star Guardian.

The Q animation feels noticeably cleaner on Spirit Blossom compared to other Ahri skins, especially when you're trying to CS under tower or poke through minions. Her charm projectile is probably the biggest upgrade though, with that pink heart being way easier to track in teamfights than base Ahri's orb. During a baron fight yesterday, I landed three crucial charms back to back partly because I could actually see where my E was going through all the spell effects. And the ult dashes feel more responsive somehow, like there's less delay between casts when you're weaving autos.

What really sold me was how the skin performs when you're fed and diving backline. The W foxfires have this distinct purple glow that makes it super clear when they're ready to pop off on someone, unlike Elderwood where they kinda blend into the map. The recall animation is insane too, with Ahri sitting on that spirit gate, though you'll rarely see it fully since you're usually backing under pressure. Is Spirit Blossom Ahri worth it at 1820 RP? If you're serious about climbing with her, absolutely. It's not quite pay to win, but the visual clarity definitely gives you an edge in messy fights. My experience with Spirit Blossom Ahri convinced me to refund Coven just to keep this as my main skin.
