Space Groove Lux feels like playing a completely different champion after putting in around 90 games with it this month. The Q binding has this satisfying disco ball effect that makes landing it feel extra rewarding, and I swear the projectile looks slightly thinner than base which helps me thread it through minions better. Her E lucent singularity gets this groovy expansion animation that somehow makes the zone control feel more impactful, especially when you're zoning the enemy ADC off CS in lane.
The skin really shines during those messy dragon fights where everyone's abilities overlap. Last night I caught their fed Yasuo with a max range Q near pit because the binding particle stood out so clearly against all the chaos, something that never happens with Cosmic or Elementalist where everything blends together. But the real game changer is her ult which has this bright rainbow beam that's impossible to miss. Your teammates actually react faster to your engages because they can't ignore that giant disco laser cutting across their screen.
Compared to other Lux skins like Dark Cosmic, Space Groove trades some of the intimidation factor for pure clarity. The auto attack animation feels more responsive too, making last hitting smoother when you're behind and need every minion. Is Space Groove Lux worth it? For 1350 RP you're getting probably the cleanest visual clarity on her kit, though it's purely cosmetic and won't suddenly make you land more Qs.
After my experience with Space Groove Lux, I'd say grab it if you main her or want a skin that won't tilt you when abilities get lost in teamfights. The vibe is insane but in the best way possible.
