Space Groove Gwen

Been playing Space Groove Gwen for about 50 games now after getting it from a chest, and honestly this skin hits different than I expected. The disco aesthetic seemed kinda cringe at first but the execution is actually insane once you're in game. Her Q feels way smoother to spam compared to base skin, probably because the scissor animation has this groovy flow that makes the timing easier to track. And her W mist zone has this purple disco floor effect that's somehow clearer to see in teamfights than the default blue fog.

The ult is where this skin really shines though. During a dragon fight yesterday, I managed to thread three ults through the entire enemy team because the needle projectile is so much more visible with that neon trail. Compare this to Cafe Cuties where the pastel colors blend into river fights, Space Groove actually gives you better visibility when it matters. Her E dash has this satisfying disco slide that feels more responsive than base, making those clutch escapes feel cleaner.

Is Space Groove Gwen worth it compared to other Gwen skins? If you're a Gwen main who already owns Cafe Cuties, maybe wait for a sale since they're both solid choices. But if you're choosing your first Gwen skin, Space Groove edges ahead purely for the clearer animations in teamfights. It's definitely not pay to win, but those visual improvements do help when you're trying to pop off in ranked. The 1350 RP price point feels fair for what you get, especially considering how much cleaner your combos feel. Would recommend grabbing it if you plan on spamming Gwen this season.
