Space Groove Blitz & Crank

After 50 games with Space Groove Blitz & Crank, I'm actually surprised how much the disco vibe grew on me. Got this from a chest last month and wasn't expecting much since I usually run iBlitzcrank for the clean animations, but this skin hits different once you get used to the groove aesthetic.

The Q hook feels insanely smooth compared to base Blitzcrank, probably because the disco ball animation gives you better visual feedback on the hitbox. Your W speed boost literally makes you skate across the rift with those roller blade effects, and I swear it feels more responsive when you're trying to reposition for hooks in teamfights. The ult is where things get wild though. That disco explosion with the music drop makes it so satisfying when you pop off in a dragon fight. Last night we were contesting soul, enemy ADC tried to int by walking up, and hitting that perfect hook into ult combo with the whole Space Groove soundtrack playing felt absolutely worth. Even their jungler typed "that skin tilted me" in all chat.

Compared to other Blitzcrank skins like Piltover Customs or Battle Boss, this one's purely cosmetic but the cleaner animation on abilities makes it feel pay to win sometimes. The hook windup is maybe a frame smoother than most skins, and enemies seem to underestimate the range because of how the disco ball looks. Is Space Groove Blitz & Crank worth it? If you're a Blitz main who plays him regularly, definitely grab it when it's in Your Shop. The vibe alone makes those support games less of a grind, and you'll probably find yourself enjoying the champion more just from the skin effects.
