Soul Fighter Lux

On the run from her family, and she figured the best place to hide would be ON TV?! Seriously though, folks, this lady has some trauma... and we all know the ring is *the* place to work that out! Now, if I was a betting man—and I am—I'd say she'd use that soul's desire to make her drama disappear. It's Lux!

Got Soul Fighter Lux from a chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much since I usually run Cosmic or Elementalist. After about 35 games though, this skin's grown on me in ways I didn't see coming. The Q binding feels way more responsive than base Lux, and there's something about the martial arts theme that makes landing combos feel more satisfying.

The E animation is probably my favorite change since it's got this cleaner explosion that makes it easier to see when enemies are actually in range for the pop. Her ult beam has this golden effect that's less flashy than Star Guardian but still clear enough to track in teamfights. Last night during a dragon fight, I managed to snipe their ADC through the pit wall and the visual clarity on the ult made it super easy to line up compared to other Lux skins I've tried. But the W shield throw feels slightly delayed, which tilted me at first until I got used to the timing.

Is Soul Fighter Lux worth it compared to other Lux skins? If you're looking for something different from the typical magical girl aesthetic, absolutely. It's not pay to win or anything, but the smoother animation cancels on Q into E definitely help during lane trades. The skin's worth the 1350 RP if you want something that feels fresh while still being competitively viable. My experience with Soul Fighter Lux has been surprisingly positive, and while it won't replace Elementalist for most Lux mains, it's become my go to when I need to focus and not get distracted by flashy effects.
