Never thought I'd drop 1350 RP on another Evelynn skin when Coven exists, but Soul Fighter completely changed my mind after around 70 games. The martial arts theme hits different when you're stalking through river, and the way her Q spikes feel more responsive makes those early jungle clears actually satisfying instead of tedious.

What really sold me was how clean the E dash animation feels compared to base skin. There's something about the smoother cancel on her empowered E that makes tower dives way less clunky. Last night I was getting absolutely fed against their bot lane, and when I popped ult to escape after securing the double, the martial arts backflip animation actually made it easier to track where I'd land. Coven Evelynn still has the best sound effects, but Soul Fighter's visual clarity is probably better for actually climbing. Her W charm indicator stands out more against terrain too, which matters when you're trying to land that perfect flank during dragon fights.

Is Soul Fighter Evelynn worth it? If you're comparing it to something like Shadow or Safecracker, it's not even close. The skin feels modern and polished in ways her older skins just don't. But against Coven or K/DA, it becomes preference. Soul Fighter isn't pay to win, but the cleaner animations definitely help with timing your combos. My experience with Soul Fighter Evelynn convinced me it's worth the price if you play her regularly.
