Picked up Snow Moon Ahri from a chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much since I'm usually running Spirit Blossom or Elderwood. After about 35 games though, this skin's grown on me in ways I didn't see coming.
The Q feels way smoother on the return compared to base Ahri, and I swear the charm animation is cleaner when you're trying to hit those max range picks. Her W foxfires have this subtle glow that makes them easier to track in teamfights, which actually helped me secure a dragon steal yesterday when I could see exactly when my damage was landing through all the chaos. But what really sells it is the ult animation. Each dash has this crisp snow effect that makes kiting feel more responsive, probably because the visual feedback matches the actual hitbox better than skins like Arcade where everything's a bit too flashy.
Compared to other Ahri skins at 1350 RP, Snow Moon sits in a weird spot. It's not as visually stunning as Coven or Spirit Blossom, but there's something about the minimalist aesthetic that just works. The recall is pretty standard, nothing special there. And while it's definitely not pay to win, the cleaner animations do make comboing feel less clunky than some of her older skins.
Is Snow Moon Ahri worth it? If you're an Ahri main looking for something that won't tilt you with visual noise while still feeling premium, absolutely grab it. For casual players though, maybe wait for a sale since there are flashier options in her lineup that'll give you more immediate satisfaction.
