Snow Day Ziggs

Getting Snow Day Ziggs from a mystery chest last month was probably my luckiest pull this season. After 55 games with it, I'm honestly shocked how much cleaner the animations feel compared to base Ziggs or even Battle Boss which I used to main. The snowball Q actually makes CSing easier since the projectile feels more responsive when you're trying to last hit under tower.

The ult is where Snow Day really shines though. That giant snowball rolling across the map is so much easier to track in teamfights compared to the regular bomb, and I've noticed enemies panic more when they see it coming. During a baron fight yesterday, I threw it from raptors and watched three people flash away from what looked like a massive avalanche heading their way. The E minefield with those little snowmen is actually harder to see in river fights which gives you a slight advantage. And the W satchel charge feels smoother to place, making those quick escapes over walls more consistent.

Compared to other Ziggs skins like Arcanist or Pool Party, Snow Day sits right in the middle for clarity but wins on satisfaction. Every ability just feels more impactful with the snow effects and sound design. It's definitely not pay to win, but the visual improvements make playing Ziggs more enjoyable when you're spamming him for hours. At 975 RP it's worth grabbing if you play him regularly.

My experience with Snow Day Ziggs convinced me to actually start collecting the winter skins. If you're a Ziggs main who's been on the fence, grab it next time it's in shop. The small quality of life improvements add up fast when you're trying to pop off in ranked.
