Snow Day Graves

Outfitted with his mighty snowblowing gun and a can-do attitude, Graves enters every snowball fight with the same entrepreneurial spirit that got him out of prison. Which is to say, blowing a lot of things up with little to no regard for his own safety.

Snow Day Graves

After grinding 80+ games with Snow Day Graves, I can honestly say this skin hits different compared to other Graves skins in ways most people overlook. The auto attack animation feels noticeably smoother than base Graves, and when you're trying to CS under tower or kite during teamfights, that cleaner animation actually makes a difference. Pool Party Graves might have the beach vibes, but Snow Day's projectiles are way easier to track in chaotic fights.

The Q buckshot stands out the most with its icy blue particles that pop off the screen better than any other skin. During a baron fight yesterday, I could perfectly see my Q spread through three enemies stacked in the pit, something that gets lost with darker skins like Crime City. The R feels more responsive too, probably because the snowball ultimate has less visual clutter than the standard explosion. And that E dash leaves this subtle snow trail that helps you track where you've been positioning, which sounds minor but helps when you're fed and diving their backline.

Is Snow Day Graves worth it at 1350 RP? If you're a Graves main who plays him regularly, absolutely. The skin isn't pay-to-win but the clearer hitbox indicators on abilities genuinely help in teamfights. My only complaint is the recall animation feels a bit long when you're trying to base quickly after a pick.

For anyone on the fence about should you buy Snow Day Graves, I'd say grab it during a sale if you play him more than occasionally. But if you already own Sentinel or Battle Professor, you're not missing anything game-changing. The winter theme is clean without being too extra, and after a month of spamming it, I haven't gotten tired of the effects yet.
