SKT T1 Ryze

Picked up SKT T1 Ryze from a chest last week and honestly wasn't expecting much since I'm more of a Zombie Ryze guy. After about 40 games though, this skin's grown on me way more than I thought it would. The red and gold color scheme makes spell combos feel crisp, and there's something about the cleaner animation on his Q that makes last hitting smoother in lane.

The E spread feels more responsive compared to other Ryze skins, especially when you're trying to clear waves fast before rotating. His ult has this golden portal effect that's actually easier to see in river fights, which saved my ADC yesterday when we were contesting dragon. I was fed and managed to realm warp three of us out when their jungler tried to steal. And the recall animation where he holds up the trophy is pretty insane, gives you that worlds winner vibe even when you're 0/3 in lane.

Compared to my usual Zombie Ryze, SKT T1 feels less clunky overall. The spell effects aren't as flashy but they're clearer, which probably helps in teamfights when everything gets chaotic. Is SKT T1 Ryze worth it if you main him? For 975 RP it's not the most exciting visual upgrade, but the smoother feel makes it worth considering. It's purely cosmetic, no pay to win advantages, but sometimes that mental diff from using a clean skin helps you pop off.

My experience with SKT T1 Ryze has been surprisingly positive. If you see it in Your Shop or get lucky with a chest, definitely give it a try. But if you're choosing between this and something like Dark Crystal Ryze, maybe wait for a sale.
