Sentinel Olaf

Picked up Sentinel Olaf during the event and after 90+ games, this skin completely changed how I approach teamfights. The visual clarity on this compared to other Olaf skins makes tracking your axes in chaotic situations actually manageable, which sounds basic but it's insane how much smoother my gameplay feels now.

The Q axes glow with this golden light that cuts through everything, even in messy dragon fights where particles are everywhere. Last night we were contesting soul and I could perfectly track both axes bouncing between their fed Jinx and support while our Yasuo was ulting. That visibility probably won me the smite fight since I could position better without losing track of my damage sources. His ult has this bright shield effect that makes it super obvious when you're immune, and the W lifesteal has subtle light particles that help you know it's active. But the real game changer is how the E animation feels more responsive than base Olaf or even Brolaf. The swing connects cleaner and you can cancel it into Q throws way smoother.

Is Sentinel Olaf worth it compared to other Olaf skins? If you're serious about climbing with him, absolutely. This isn't just cosmetic like Butcher Olaf where you're paying for the aesthetic. The clearer hitbox indicators and brighter particles give you an actual advantage in teamfights. At 1350 RP it's not cheap, but my experience with Sentinel Olaf has been worth every penny. The Sentinels of Light theme fits perfectly with his kit too. I'd recommend grabbing it next time it's in shop if you play Olaf more than occasionally. Your winrate will thank you when you stop losing axes in river skirmishes.
