Sentinel Irelia

After 80 games with Sentinel Irelia, I can confidently say this skin completely changes how her kit feels in teamfights. As someone who owns most Irelia skins, this one stands out for reasons that aren't immediately obvious in the splash art.

The Q resets feel insanely smooth compared to base Irelia or even Divine Sword. There's something about the golden trail that makes tracking your marks during chaotic fights so much easier. Her E placement has this subtle glow that actually helped me land more stuns, especially when I'm trying to zone the enemy ADC during dragon fights. Just yesterday I managed to perfectly E stun their fed Jinx through the dragon pit wall because the projectile visibility is that much clearer. The ult projectile speed feels identical but the blades themselves are way more visible against Summoner's Rift terrain, which probably saved me from inting into unwarded bushes at least ten times.

Compared to other Irelia skins like High Noon, Sentinel actually gives you a slight advantage. The cleaner animation on her passive stacks makes it easier to track when you're fully stacked without constantly checking the buff bar. Worth the 1350 RP? For Irelia mains, absolutely. This isn't just cosmetic, it's borderline pay to win in terms of clarity.

My experience with Sentinel Irelia convinced me to make it my main skin for ranked. The visual clarity alone makes those crucial teamfight moments less cluttered, and when you're trying to pop off on a champion as mechanically intensive as Irelia, every bit helps. Should you buy Sentinel Irelia if you're serious about climbing? Without question.
